Lovely accommodationin with pleasant hosts and in easy reach of all attractions. The single room was spacious and very clean. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Our room was really comfortable and we couldn't fault the friendliness of the owners. They were very kind about storing our bicycles too. It's a great location to walk intothe city for food and ale and we can highly recommend the Wyndham Arms for ale

Myself and brother stayed at the Victoria Lodge Guest House recently for three nights, when we first arrived we were met with pleasant and professional reception staff, our rooms were very clean, the Guest House is a credit to it’s proprietors and we would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at the Victoria Lodge for two nights and had a very comfortable stay. For what they charge you (didn't know it was 10% off if you book directly from them), the property has everything you need, at least if you're traveling solo and don't expect to spend the whole day in. Both the room and the bathroom were clean. Members of staff were very friendly and keen to make guests and their stay a happy one.Definitely worth the money 😄

Stayed one night for trip to Salisbury races. A really nice friendly place and compared to prices elsewhere it was real value for money. Only a 10 minute leisurely walk to centre and cathedral so location is good. Clean neat and tidy and would definitely stay here again.

Nice and clean room. As everybody knows the fotos never relate to reality. The bathroom without window was small but absolutely sufficient. I had 2 small problems: during the shower the light went out. Luckily the door was a bit open. To use a hairdryer you need one with a long wire because the power point isn’t next to the mirror.The street is very loud, but I could sleep anyway. Walking to the center is possible in 15 minutes. The owners / staff are nice.

Stayed here on our way back to Heathrow - very comfortable , cheerful and helpful check in and a 12 min easy walk into the city centre. Great shower and I also loved having a window opened with fresh air .

I cannot recommend Victoria Lodge enough. Our room was spotless and comfortable and the proprietor could not have been more helpful. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble which made us feel very welcome.The lodge has parking and is a short walk from the main centre. Everything was perfect!! A big thank you!!

Thanks for a lovely stay we were made to feel very welcome. Perfect location for our short break in Salisbury just a 10 minute walk to the city centre which was great for our visit to the Cathedral and a short drive to local tourist attractions including Stonehenge, Old Sarum and Salisbury races.

The rooms were a bit small but overall comfortable. Good location close to city center and on the north side closer to Stonehenge. Staff very helpful and attentive to our needs. A couple of small fixes needed repair but they were taken care of quickly.

Clean room, comfortable bed, decent shower - absolutely fine for my one night stay. It is located next to a busy road so would be a struggle for light sleepers.

Stayed whilst visiting a friend on Salisbury and wanted a base that was low cost - whichcan often mean lower standards. We were delighted with what Victoria Park provided and will certainly return. The room was well furnished and very clean with comfortable bed and bedding The shower was excellent.We welcomed breakfast not being included as it allows for flexibility and greater choice. Altogether excellent valuefor money.

Generally a very pleasant stay. Guest house and rooms clean, we’re warmly welcomed and parking facilities good.Quite a lot of traffic as near main road, noisy at night.Our bin wasn’t emptied during our 3 night stay.We knew no breakfast was offered and were able to find enough places to go in town (20 min walk), but it would have been nice to have somewhere close by.Easy access to Old Sarum and into town (by foot), only used car to drive to Stonehenge (approx 10 miles).

I stayed for one night and found the staff welcoming and friendly and the accommodation to be excellent value for money located so close to the city centre. My room was a clean, comfortable very compact single ensuite on the second floor with basic facilities and I was satisfed with it. It is let on a room only basis but as I don't have breakfast anyway it suited me ideally.The room is a little dated and with the lodge being situated on a main road sometraffic noise was inevitable but it did not disturb me and I enjoyed a restful night's sleep and would stay there again when I next visit Salisbury.

I had a very enjoyable stay of three days at Victoria Lodge Guest House (travelling alone for the purposes of seeing a gig). The hosts were very hospitable (and conversational), and owing to its availability, they generously upgraded my room to a superior one relative to the one that I paid for, all for the same price. The room was spacious and clean, and the shower was superb. This is an excellent place to stay, for lone travellers and families alike. The location is also good if you are looking to visit the City Centre (including the Cathedral) and Old Sarum (all on foot). I want to return to Salisbury again, this time taking in Stonehenge, and I would love to stay at Victoria Lodge Guest House again. Highly recommended.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Victoria Lodge many times. Nice clean and homely rooms and have always been able to park on site which is very handy. The staff are friendly and helpful and have kindly re-scheduled my stay dates a couple of times when unforeseen problems arose. It is conveniently located near Salisbury and the surrounding area. I continue to use it as a home away from home when I am passing by. Dave B

A comfortable room which was nice and clean.A reasonable walk into the town but buses pass nearby for those that don't want to walkI can't comment on food as we went on the room only basis.Good wifi connection.Decent parking area.We are happy to recommend and will certainly stay there again.

Stayed overnight in a single room. Perfectly adequate facilities with own shower room, TV and tea-making facilities. Clean but dated.

This was our second stay at Victoria Lodge in 2 years and would certainly stay again without hesitation. Very comfortable, clean, good on-site parking and a lovely breakfast!! Brian was exceptionally helpful when we discovered we had left my wife’s tablets at home and with his help we were able to contact our GP in Leeds to send a prescription to a local chemist in Salisbury to dispense the tablets before we set off for Southampton for an 18 day cruise !! Excellent customer service, Brian !!

I stayed in a cosy single room on the ground floor. The room was clean and comfortable.The guest house was a short walk into the city where there were a good choice of pubs and restaurants.Parking was available on-site.The lovely lady at checkincouldn’t have been more helpful and kind.I had to leave early so sadly missed breakfast.

The Victoria Lodge Guest House gets full marks from me. It's small comfortable gem just minutes from Salisbury City Centre with adequate free parking. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the rooms are comfortable and clean with a generous amount of tea and coffee provided. Breakfast is top notch. This was my 6th stay at this Guest House and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Salisbury

The staff were so keen to help us, especially with the lactose / gluten complications in our dietary requirements. We found them very friendly and obliging. Located on the outskirts of Salisbury it was in the ideal location for my stay, Stonehenge very close, as are many other historical sites. Easy access either into the city or out to the surrounding area.A well appointed room with en suite and the all important kettle with tea and coffee.An enjoyable stay with a very good breakfast tostart the day after a good nights sleep.I do intend to return later in the year for another stay.

Very friendly welcome.Couldn't get the TV to work but was fixed the next day.Nice full breakfast but couldn't seem to deliver the toast AFTER the hot breakfast when requested.Very understanding at checkout (Lucy) when I'd seemingly had lost/misplaced credit cards but later found in bottom of golf bag somewhile later!Ideally situated for the city itself and getting out of the city so will probably use again when in the area.

My stay at Victoria Lodge was completely satisfactory. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable and everything worked! I was given a warm welcome by Caroline who was friendly, helpful and engaging. Unlike some of my colleagues (we were all part of a visiting choir performing the weekend services at Salisbury Cathedral) who stayed in city centre accommodation and were disturbed by noisy nightclubs, my stay was tranquil and relaxed and I enjoyed two nights'good sleep. The city centre was a healthy 20 minute walk or a short cab ride - (between £4.60 and £5.00).Thoroughly recommended.

This guest house is conveniently positioned on the outskirts of the centre of Salisbury.There is a pleasant riverside walk that takes you to the centre of town within 15 minutes.There was a good choice of food for breakfast and the room was clean and comfortable

Great Place to stay. The lodge is full of great character. Hard working and very pleasent staff. Good Free off road car parking. Great location for city centre stay. Easy walk into city centre. Good Breakfast.

A really nice guesthouse where I felt very welcome. Breakfasts were very good and served with a smile which does make a big difference. Location is great, a nice riverside walk to the town, and the parking is useful too. Room always cleaned very well and more than two tea bags by the kettle!Only one criticism is of the road noise in room 11 (and I would then assume also in room 10). Could really do with better double glazing on the windows in these rooms as the traffic noise really can be quite loud at times.

The "Hotel" is located at good position in Salisbury, even though quite loud between main roads. The room equipment is slightly outworn and the rooms are small. However, the staff was very friendly and keen on serving their guests. It's not a typical B&B atmosphere.

Room was very small, and it was a single bed, which I wasn't impressed with. Towels barely covered me, and I'm not big.Room was on the ground floor so was woke up early by other guests. Could of been given a bigger proportion for breakfast.Ladies of the house were delightful to deal with and were very helpful.

Warm welcome when checking in with plenty of information given as to the hotel and getting in to Salisbury centre, places to eat, etc. Good location on main road into centre, only a 10 minute walk, or, slightly longer if you walk alongside the river. Room was spacious and very confortable. Breakfasts, good choice and really good. Owners and staff really friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble for them.Fantastic. Recommended.

I have stayed at the Victoria Lodge on numerous occasions and the standard is always consistently good, and the staff friendly and helpful.

we stayed two nights in this hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. Friendly staff, nice breakfast and a comfortable room. What more do you want?

Our family from Baltimore USA took 2 rooms for 2 nights just before Christmas.The stay and accommodations were excellent.Everything first rate and we will stay at Victorian Lodge on future trips to the UK.Highly recommendated!

Hello all,My wife and I just returned from a magnificent weekend at Salisbury. The accomodation at the Victoria Guest house was great, very spacious and comfortable rooms and a delicious English Breakfast.The Lodge is well located a 10 minutes walk to the City Centre and also very close to the foot path leading to the Old Sarum.We will recommend this location if you are planning to visit Salisbury.Regards,Andres

If you want tot visit Salisbury or Wiltshire, this Guest House is an excellent base. Friendly and helpful staff, fine breakfast

Comfortable and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Very good full English breakfast every morning. Ideal location for city centre and Stonehenge.

The room was nice and comfortable, the staff were friendly, breakfast was very good, so no complaints about anything.Would stay here again.
